THE 23^rd TIGGER TOR FELL RACE

11.00am Sunday 27^th January 2008

Race Details, Venue & Start Time - Over 18 years of age. Starts and finishes at the rugby ground. 10 miles to 2,200ft. Run under FRA rules. Sheffield Tigers RUFC (A625 south of Sheffield map ref 298821). Extensive changing facilities & showers. Start 11.00am prompt. Car parking is limited - please travel together and park where directed.

Entries - Pre-entry £5.00 by post or pay and enter at either Autocraft Services, 95 John Street, Sheffield S2 4QX (tel 0114 275 9584) or Keep on Running, 710 Attercliffe Road, Sheffield S9 3RP (tel 0114 244 5335) £1.00 extra if entry taken on the day. Limit 300.

Course Details – The course covers some difficult terrain and weather conditions can be severe which means fell running experience is essential. The road crossing will be marshalled but care must be taken. The route between checkpoints is optional (but not road). Please note that the course may change at any time.

Refreshments - Tigers clubhouse will be open for hot food and drinks together with the usual full bar facilities. Families welcome.

Totley Tigers Race Series - Entries for the Totley Tigers Race Series will be taken at Race Registration and also at the Tigers Todger race day. The Race Series registration fee is £3.00. Free T-Shirt to all who complete at least 4 out of the 5 races - and one of the completed races must be the Ex-Terminator. Free Race Series mug showing the race dates to all who register.

Safety - BE PREPARED - A map, a whistle, a compass and full windproof body cover must be carried. Kit check at Race Registration. A weather forecast will be displayed on the day of the race. Heavy snow will mean postponing the race – if in doubt telephone 01246 418545 or 0114 275 9584

Proceeds from the race will go to Sheffield Tigers Development Fund, the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and local charities.
