The Totley Calendar is changing

Many apologies for the state of our calendar, currently. We have not abandoned it.
We are planning to upgrade it to a collaborative Google calendar that can be updated by many people and managed by an all controlling editor. So, please check back in a couple of weeks and hopefully something will be in its early stages!

Week night run leaders and back markers

Your club needs you!

As you all know we are in need of more leaders on club training nights. If anybody would like to help on this matter please contact me: neiloffler@googlemail.com.

I am also looking for back markers for the three groups,so no one gets left behind or lost. I am hoping to create a rotor type systerm for club training nights so leaders/back markers of groups would do a one in 4 turn this way it gets spead out fairly and the people who do this week in week out get a carefree run. volunteers so far linda fitzpatrick (medium group) jim (slow group,) neil offler (any group,inc new members) if anyone can help please contact me(neil offler) many thanks neil offler...

Curry nights

Red Lion, Charles St then to the Shapla

Beers and curry, Sat 18th Feb, time to be debated. Red Lion on Charles St has a good selection of real ales and then to the Shapla - commonly thought of as being one of the best curry houses in town and easy for most to get to. All welcome please let me know before Sat 11th if you want to eat (and at what time - democracy will win) so I can book a table.
Other venues for curry nights inc Highcliffe then House of Spice on Eccy Rd or we could return to the scenes of our earlier crimes around Kelham Island and the Seven Spices , let me know your thoughts

Pat receives more medals

Congratulations to Pat who was awarded 2nd V50 in the British Fell Championships and equal 2nd V55 in the English Fell Championships. She received her medals at the FRA dinner on 12th November.

Until the clocks change in 2012, reflective vests must be worn on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Decthlon seem to want a tenna for one, so I'd look else where! The one illustrated is worth about £2-3.
Head torches are also required only if you would like to go off road.
