It was a fine day with dry conditions underfoot for the first running of this race. This was the last counter in the Totley and Tigers Fell Race Series. The route between checkpoints left a lot of scope for the runners to take different routes and much was gained and lost throughout the field due to route choice. The race was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and we had a record turnout again. The post race massage, beer tent and BBQ all proved a success. Thanks to our sponsors, Keep On Running and Auto craft Services for the support that they provided. Thanks also to all the marshalls and helpers on the day that helped to make the event run smoothly. We look forward to seeing everyone next year for the series, starting at the end of January with the Tigger Tor Race: Mark Wilson-Race Organiser |
