All evening runs last for approximately 1hr 20mins.
Sunday morning runs can take a little longer if it’s a lovely day!
C Do you cater for all standards of fitness?
Yes. On Tuesdays & Thursdays there are usually 3 groups, each with a different running pace. There is also an improvers session on Thursdays at HSBC run by Jan Hutton for those interested. It is not possible to be left behind on this session as the group stays in one location. Sunday runs at 9.30 consist of one group at a gentle pace.
D What if I can’t manage the full 1hr 20mins
F What type of terrain do you run on?
During the winter we mainly run on the road, with a small group choosing too go off road with head torches. There is also usually a speed/hill session on a Thursday. During the Summer, there is always an off-road group taking in the fantastic views. Sunday morning runs are always off road in the Peaks all year round.
G Do I have to join straight away, and how much does it cost?
You do not have to join immediately you start running with Totley. Obviously, you need to try us out for a couple of training sessions and see how you get on.
However, if you like running with Totley and wish to continue, then you must join the club. The cost is £15.00 per year and family membership is £20.00.
The membership offers a quarterly club magazine, discount at Front Runner Sheffield>, subsidised social events etc.

H Are there shower facilities available?
When we run from the Cricket Inn, there are showers available in the brand new club hut that is always kept tidy, warm and dry. We have men’s and women’s changing rooms and even hair dryers for both genders. Most of the winter runs start from other locations, where there are no showers.
I Do I have to wear any special clothing?
Bring a dry top to change in to after the run and it is also a good idea to carry a windproof top in case it turns cold or you get injured. During the winter months, all runners must wear a reflective top
J Do you socialise afterwards?
Yes, as follows:
Summer: The Crown
Winter: Either Hammer & Pincers, Bents Road, Waggon and Horses, Millhouses or HSBC Sports Bar (depending on where we are running from)
